Keith Wilkowski receives NOBMA Award

Keith Wilkowski accepts the Northwest Ohio Black Media Association’s Annual Impact Newsmaker Award on behalf of Toledoans for Obama from MC Skyler Meadows on May 21.
“I am honored to have led Toledoans for Obama,” said Wilkowski at the awards dinner.
“Barack Obama’s campaign awakened in us a feeling that we could be part of something greater than ourselves; that acting together, we could bring real change to our community and our nation.
Our group’s early support for then Senator Obama here in Ohio – the most important battleground state in our country – surely played a key role in electing him as our new President.”
